Vintage BOKER TREE BRAND Salesmans Roll Knife Roll, Storage, 1960s era
The collection included a vintage Boker sales roll with salesmans sample knives these knives have the pattern number and the per dozen price inked on the back of the main blade. Based on the prices marked on the knives and comparing to some vintage Boker price lists, I believe that the roll and the knives are from about 1960, but of course the roll could be older. See my other listings for the knives in this collection. This listing is for the sales roll. The roll is 10 wide and (unrolled) it measures about 39 long. There are 48 slots to store knives. The interior elastic bands are all intact. The interior has the expected soiling from use (see photos). There is a nice leather patch with the BOKER TREE BRAND logo. The leather exterior is in good condition. As the photos show, the leather handle is broken through (but still held together). A nice vintage roll, these do not come up for sale very often. The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive. See my other listings for more collectible knives.
Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle. Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
